What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination involves straightening and lifting the hairs using a solution (we use a Vegan, TGA FREE – this means no thioglycolic acid or its derivatives) which allows the hairs to have more flexibility to move them into your desired shape, therefore covering any gaps or stray areas.

After your natural brow hairs are straightened, a fixing solution is applied to keep the hairs straight, as well as a tint if desired. The result is fuller-looking brows that stay in place when brushed into shape, lasting around 6-8 weeks.

Brow lamination rules:
The first 24-48 hours post brow lamination:
~ KEEP your brows DRY! No sweating, no humidity and avoid direct sunlight. Even you are feeling nervous like wow these brows are bold.…. resist the urge!
Keeping your brows dry for the first 24 hours can help your service last as long as possible.
~ Use a moisturizing serum daily on brows (after 24hrs).
~ Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24hrs after your treatment.
~ Avoid swimming/sauna for 24hrs.
~ Avoid the temptation to over touch the brow area after treatment.
~ Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat (sun beds, saunas, steam room)
~ DO NOT apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around brow area for three days after treatment.
~ No self tanning products should be used on the face for two days after treatment. If you received a spray tan prior to your lamination apt. you should wait at least 5 days after to receive treatment.

You will leave the service with:
+ A mascara brush - please brush your brows into shape daily to keep the hairs organized and groomed. I highly recommend using a brow gel to keep smooth and nicely shaped.
